`CHANDRALEKHA` ALMOST FINISH

Director N Omprakash Rao clarifies before media writing that his film is either remake or lifted from half a dozen films. This ‘Chandralekha’ is a remake of Telugu film ‘Prema Chitra Katham’ – released in June this year. In that way Rao is very fast in cashing on the popularity of the 100 days run film of producer Maruthi and director Prabhakar Reddy.

I have made minute changes explains Rao looking tired for hectic shooting. In 45 days time we have completed shoot and it is night effect cinema. There are only four characters mainly in the film. Chiranjeevi has given splendid work with masters in comedy Sadhu Kokila and Nagashekhar says Rao. Rao is also appearing in a song portion of this film. JB who scored music for original film is composing five songs. The film is slated for release in November assures Rao.

Distributor in Andhra Pradesh Sridhar Reddy says the good content come from Maruthi and Rao an excellent technician has worked for this film. It is full of Fun, Fear and Romance he says.

According to Chiranjeevi Sarja working with Rao is very nice. It is not what he heard about him. He gives a pretty good feel to work. Then he fills confidence by giving freedom to perform. He has treated me as if I am in his fifth film says Sarja. All characters carry the comedy dose. In this film I have grown as an actor he opines. 80 percent of shoot is held in interiors he says.

This ‘Chandralekha’ is for the youths and that ‘Aptha Mithra’ for family audience opines producer Sridhar Reddy.
